Videography

The fact that I get to capture real life events and memories still amazes me…Not only that, I get to tell stories with the footage I collect. Here are some video projects I have created for various club events, class projects, work collaborations, and personal projects.

UCSB “Major” Tips

This is a project I edited and created with some of the underclassmen in the club that I was a part of. We wanted to help incoming freshmen by providing “Major Tips” in adjusting to UCSB despite the COVID-19 barrier. We played with the word “Major” as it means major as in important, but also major as in the subject you decide to study in college.

I created this video in Adobe Premiere and animated the beginning logo in After Effects.

This is just the animation of the logo in After Effects. The entire video is on my Vimeo page here.

AYM Thrive Conference 2021

AYM hosted an online conference for youth and college students in 2021 during the pandemic. Thrive Conference hosted resume workshops, Q&As, and tips on Software Engineering, etc. while achieving an online community for students!

I filmed with a Canon 80D, edited in Adobe Premiere, and animated the logo in After Effects.

What is AYM?

AYM stands for Area Youth Ministry. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth mentorship program that spans nationwide.

I am one of the main videographers and video editors for their program. For this project, I led a team to draft the storyboard, film on an Sony A7iii and Canon 80d, and then edited in Adobe Premerie, and After Effects. I went with a 16:9 ration instead of the typical 1920x1080 hoping to achieve a more cinematic look.

It is featured on their website here.

STREAM logo

A mentorship program created the logo in Adobe Photoshop, and asked me to animate it it for their YouTube videos. I animated this using Adobe After Effects. I also filmed and edited a majority of their videos listed here on their YouTube channel.

Welcome Class of 2024: Top 5 Tips

This is another club project I edited during COVID-19. I had some of my friends film themselves to create a “vlog-like” welcome to UCSB video for the incoming class of 2024 giving them filming guidelines and tips.

I then took all of their clips and compiled and edited it into a full video.

I edited the video using Adobe Premiere, and animated the confetti and the ending logo in After Effects.

Art 113 Project: Connected or Controlled

This was one of my submissions for my Adobe Premiere class in college. The theme was to portray the effects that technology and media have on the individual human.

I edited the video using Adobe Premiere, and altered some masks in After Effects.
